Process

  • Theses and seminar papers are checked for plagiarism using Turnitin.
  • Plagiarism results in a grade of 5.0.
  • Cases of plagiarism are reported to the examination office (Benjamin Gödicke, sowi.pruefungen@uni-bamberg.de), along with a summary and an assessment (extent and significance).
  • Students are given the possibility to explain their case to the examination office.
